A playful seaside identity for a lobster roll spot on the French coast.

Lobsta is a beachside restaurant located in southern France, serving up lobster rolls and seafood sandwiches inspired by laid-back coastal living. When the team behind Lobsta approached Sandikala Studio, they were looking for a brand identity that could capture both the casual charm of their food and the vibrant, summer energy of their surroundings.

We created a bold and lighthearted logo that blends a lobster claw shape with friendly, modern letterforms. The identity is intentionally playful designed to feel approachable yet distinctive, with enough edge to stand out in a competitive dining scene.

Color played a central role in the brand's personality. We paired an energetic lobster-orange tone with a deep violet to create strong visual contrast: warm, vivid, and unmistakably Lobsta. This duo also allowed flexibility across various touchpoints.

Beyond the logo, we extended the brand system into packaging elements like stickers, bags, and food wraps, as well as menus and business cards. The illustrations and stamp-style accents add a fun, handcrafted layer that speaks to the casual dining experience Lobsta offers.

From visual direction to the final brand toolkit, everything was designed to scale, from takeaway packaging to digital presence, while keeping the coastal, carefree feel intact.
